This is a remote position.

The client is transforming how military decisions are made, offering an innovative solution for operational planning. Their software is widely utilized across major military headquarters, supporting several of the largest operational plans in the U.S. Armed Forces. With significant venture backing and a rapidly expanding global presence, the client is set to revolutionize military collaboration and planning processes.

They have experienced remarkable growth in recent years, achieving impressive retention rates and exponential revenue increases. Their software is on track to become the go-to collaborative planning tool across the U.S. military and allied nations, from tactical units to top-level commands.



This role focuses on driving the successful implementation and expansion of the client’s software across major military commands. You will be responsible for:

  • Building and managing relationships with military planners (O-4 to O-6) and senior leaders, ensuring seamless adoption and integration of the product.
  • Expanding product usage across Joint Force planning activities, working towards full-scale adoption in J35 and J5 plans.
  • Acting as the primary customer advocate, communicating feedback to the product team and helping to shape the future of the software.
  • Supporting exercises, troubleshooting technical challenges, and providing both in-person and remote customer support.
  • Navigating complex bureaucratic environments to achieve operational goals, including solving unique challenges in classified environments.
  • Driving renewals and identifying opportunities for expansion within your area of responsibility.

At its core, this role is about empowering the military’s planning teams with cutting-edge tools that improve decision-making. Success in this position means ensuring widespread adoption of the client’s software, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and fostering long-term partnerships across the Indo-Pacific Command and beyond.



Requirements

The Requirements
  • Proven experience in operational planning at large military headquarters, preferably within multi-star commands.
  • Advanced military education such as SAMS, SAW, or equivalent Command and Staff College training.
  • Familiarity with military planning exercises and the deployment of software solutions on classified networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior military leaders and manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Technical proficiency to master software tools and liaise with engineering teams on customer needs.
  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
